Wavelength Connect provides access to the world’s most admired, successful, innovative companies – providing participants with the inspiration and knowledge to find solutions to core leadership and organisational challenges and to own and action them.
A six-month long, UK-based leadership programme, Wavelength Connect is primarily designed for teams and brings together leaders from worlds that would not normally interact. Since Connect began in 2010, over 900 leaders from 110 leading FTSE 100 companies, social enterprises, charities and public sector agencies have taken part.
Wavelength Connect provides unequalled inspiration, education and connectivity through our immersive approach to learning - we create a stimulating environment for leaders to learn, we don’t tell them what to learn.
What is Connect?
Connect has at its heart four key elements:
1. Leaders learn best from leaders
Participants access inspiring, successful practitioners who have been there and done it.
2. Peer-based learning
Leaders from different businesses, industries and sectors learn alongside and from each other.
3. Learn from the world’s best
Leading organisations from China, India, USA and across Europe share their stories.
4. A rich, relevant curriculum
The curriculum addresses core business themes including:
- Innovation & Disruption
- Service Excellence
- Diversity & Inclusion
Combining unparalleled access to world’s best companies, a new external peer group and sessions to land the learnings Connect provides a radically different model for learning and a tangible return on investment.
Who is Wavelength Connect for?
Connect is perfect for the top talent of your business. Leaders who are tipped to be the next board directors.
They will be people with the desire to explore and adapt their leadership styles in times of profound change. They will already have a forum to put into practice what they learn – their “own train set” as a Connect Alumnus put it.
Each year around 90 leaders from leading FTSE 100 companies, social enterprises, charities and public sector agencies participate in Wavelength Connect.
How does Connect work?
Over the course of six-months (February to July) each year, Wavelength Connect members participate in a 10-day curriculum designed to explore what it takes to Lead Change:
The Curriculum in Detail:
The programme starts with a half-day workshop. The aim is to excite you about Connect and to set you all up for success. Run by one of the Wavelength team, this session identifies the personal and professional leadership challenges of the group and what your shared team mandate and focus will be during your participation in Connect.

Behind the Brand
Wavelength opens the doors to the boardrooms and shop floors of a dynamic mix of iconic brands and hidden gems for participants to experience first-hand how they create and sustain brilliant customer service, recruit and retain great talent, innovate and excel in an online omni-channel world. These three-day modules are an unbeatable learning experience.
Our hosts have included: Apple, LEGO, Liverpool Football Club, IKEA, Four Seasons, Pret A Manger, BBC, John Lewis Partnership, Eden Project, and Virgin Atlantic.
Our Leadership Masterclasses give unique access to experienced and successful leaders from a variety of sectors and industries. They share off-the-record insights into what they do day in and day out to keep their vision alive, to engage the hearts and minds of their people, to balance private and professional lives, and to deal with setbacks.
For the final event of the core curriculum, the full membership meets for a two-day residential event back at Sheepdrove. Alongside sharing lessons learnt during the programme, we focus on the themes of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Mental Health in the Workplace, and explore how leaders manage their energy and time to drive change.
Recent speakers include senior leaders from Unilever, LEGO, Southbank Centre, Timpson’s, IKEA, Royal DSM and DPD.
To conclude the Connect programme, Wavelength returns to your business to reconnect with the team. There is one topic of conversation: how will you now use your new knowledge, insight, connectivity and confidence to bring about meaningful, sustainable change?
