Wavelength's Upcoming Webinar
‘The Power of Purpose and How it Can Drive Profitability”
A Masterclass with Dr Myriam Sidibe, Author of 'Brands on a Mission' & Former Unilever Executive.
Dr Myriam Sidibe is one of the world’s leading experts of brands that drive health outcomes through mass behavioural change. From within Unilever, she created a movement to change the handwashing behaviours of one billion people, the single biggest hygiene behaviour change programme in the world, and conceived and established the multi awards winner UN recognised Global Handwashing Day – now celebrated in over 100 countries.
Myriam is passionate about how organisations can do tremendous good in the world, while promoting their long-term profitability. In this webinar she will go beyond the passive, tired talk of philanthropy or corporate social responsibility, and talk about the need for businesses to gain growth and profits from engagement in social and health issues in order to build more sustainable, effective interventions.
She is the author of the book Brands on a Mission : How to Achieve Social Impact and Business Growth through Purpose (Routledge 2020) and her TED talk The Simple Power of Handwashing has been viewed more than 1 million times.

Watch our last webinar - A masterclass on 'The Future of Business Needs to be More Diverse' with with Jude Kelly CBE, Founder & Director of The WOW Foundation
The impact of Covid-19 has been disproportionately negative for women across the board, from increased domestic labour and childcare to the challenges of accessing support or escape from domestic abuse under lockdown. What does this mean in the long term? What can businesses do to keep their foot on the gas when it comes to gender equality?
Jude talked about why it’s more important than ever for businesses to create diverse and inclusive workforces and how that can in turn drive creativity and productivity. She shared why leaders need to take personal responsibility to ensure that change is made within organisations and not just handed to the ‘D&I team’.
